I decided to try my hand at Waiter, There's Something in My... event this month. I though how perfect for me to start on the month that is topless tart month. Over the past few months I have fallen in love with gruyere cheese. The taste is perfect to me and fits great in a nice little quiche, which qualifies as a savory tart. Not being great on creating my own recipes I decided to try this out and do something I am not great at. Its the only way to learn right? Following several other themes this month I decided I wanted to add some cranberries to this dish. What else goes great with cranberries, oranges of course, so i had to add a little zest too. All in all the dish turned out pretty good and I already have ideas to add to it. Twist of Orange, Gruyere Quiche with Chicken & Cranberries
One Pie crust, recipe of your choice. I love Martha's (seem like we are best buds, huh, i wish!)

That combo sounds delish. I can imagine the mix of gruyere and cranberries. Heavenly.
Wow - what an unusual combination! I love the idea of the Gruyere and cranberries together and the addition of chicken makes it a meal. This would be a great way to use up festive leftovers... Thanks for daring to go topless for this month's WTSIM :)
Yum - I have bookmarked this to try - what a great flavour combination.
