Avery Falls in Love...with Shoes!

Yesterday as I returning a couple of items to J.Crew, I decided to stop in a shoe store to look for fall boots for Avery. Mainly inspired by a dress that I bought her last year at Anthropology and the fact that her feet are finally big enough to wear cute boots with hard soles. I found a great pair and decided to just get them, the blessing of having a child who doesnt grow much is that she can wear shoes for a few seasons!! As we were walking out Avery saw a pair of shoes out of the corner of her eyes. Although we have bought many shoes in this house for Avery I have never seen her get so excited for a pair.

This was Avery's First Moment of Falling In Love with Shoes....a moment I feel we must remember with a blog post! She looked at me and said, "Mommy, I cant like boots, I can like these, they are Charlie and Lola shoes!" I looked at the price and after just buying her new boots and a couple new shoes a few weeks ago, I did not want to shell out that price for shoes. Just as I was trying to take off the shoes, I saw a sign that said 70% off this section of shoes! This made the price much more reasonable and Avery was allowed to have her new shoe obessions!
