goals for a new beginning in 2010

Courtney After I did some reflections of 2009, I decided I should start off 2010 with some new goals for the new year! I think goals are a great way to keep myself accountable and I love to look at them and update them monthly so that I keep myself on track!
Last year was our recovery year and this year is our new beginnings! I would have never thought a year ago that I could be really excited for a new year but I am! I am excited that we are having a new baby in a few months if all goes well, I am excited to not be pregnant for a long, long, long time and excited to just be. Who knows if any of this will happen (well I can guarantee no matter what, you will not see me pregnant again any time soon) but I have hope and look forward to our year of new beginnings!
Just one little note I have one goals: Always remember they are just goals! Goals are meant to be changed and will change! We have no idea what can happen to us at anytime so don't feel like a failure if they have to be readjusted!

Personal Goals
- Keep on track with my way of eating
- Make time to go to the gym or do some sort of exercising at least 4 days a week(post baby!)
- Read at least one book a month (can be an audible book if need be!)
- Be a better wife to my husband
- Be resourceful with my garden
- Get to know farmers at the market and be consistent on going
- Run a 5K
Family Goals
- Be more active with Avery (just cause I love being at home doesn't mean Avery does)
- Set up a learning schedule each week
- Try to plan one vacation, that is budget and baby friendly
- Have a date night with my husband at least 2 a month (hey we already get to see free movies, shouldn't be too hard right!)
- Have 2 nights a month (not including date night) that we don't have distraction such as TV, computers, video games, cell phones! Just time to talk, read books and play games together.
- To be more patient
Blogging Goals
- Setup a schedule and stick to it
- Try to post everyday of the week (planning in advance of course!)
- Try more foods I have not had and blog about it
- Share my passion about food
- Just be consistent, really!
House Goals
- Get and keep areas organized on a regular basis
- Setup a schedule and try to stick to it
- Be more consistent on menu planning and sticking to it.
- Put up rain barrels
- Recycle more than I throw away
- Create a workspace for me
- Create a learning area for Avery
- Finish up the nursery
- Organize closets
- Clean Carpets
So welcome 2010, I plan on enjoying you as mush as possible and starting over clean for the new year!

You've got some great goals on your list for 2010! Honestly, this could have been my list too...we've got so much in common for what we want to accomplish in 2010! :) I'm hoping to run a 5K (my first) this year, have more consistent date nights, and get some decluttering (especially all the closets), among other things. Best of luck with all of your goals!!
Hey, if anyone can accomplish all of this, it is DEFINITELY you. Sometimes I think you're Wonderwoman! Happy New Year! :)
