Sometimes Things Change..plus maternity pics!

Tomorrow my wonderful little girl turns three! I am so excited and was also very excited she would be sharing a birthday with her little sister, who was set to be induced that day!

Well the plan changed....her lungs are just not mature and I now have gestational diabetes. It kind of sucks, I am not going to lie. After two long years of being pregnant twice, dealing with the loss of Ashlyn and just the physical pain of it, I was ready to be done ready to hold our baby and hear her cry. That is all I want and hope that delaying the delivery doesn't take that away from me.

The new plan for delivery is induce no matter what on March 17th unless my body decides to go into natural labor. This is very much possible since my stomach is measuring so many weeks ahead from the extra fluid. All I know is that if my water breaks I have been told to expect a tidal wave! Sounds like fun huh!! I really am not expecting that to happen, I am just not that lucky!

So to brighten the mood a bit.....

Here is some of the pictures of me at for my maternity pictures at 37 weeks! You can tell I am huge but they turned out wonderful, big belly and all!! I am so grateful to Colleen Eide Photography , they are just what I was wanting!!

Here are a few of the family pictures that I really love! I can wait to get them ordered and in prints!

So although the plans have changed and I am a bit bummed out, I look at these pictures and think, I can wait. I can wait one more week to have her safely and I pray that each day I wake up I feel lots of kicking and at the end a nice big cry welcoming her into the world! So for one week I plan to enjoy my little peanut Avery and help welcome her into her 4th year of life!

Lovely pics! I really like the one you and your husband holding Avery's hand while her feet are off the ground.
